FEC's Interim Final Rules for Federal Communications Commission Database On October 10th, the FEC adopted interim final rules concerning BCRA's requirement that the Federal Communications Commission set up a database to assist political actors in complying with the electioneering communications provisions of the law. While the interim final rules take effect no later than November 6th, the public may submit comments on these rules within 90 days of their publication in the Federal Register.
