Congressional Ethics Coalition Mission & Members

The Congressional Ethics Coalition is an unprecedented coalition of ideologically diverse government watchdog groups to work for reasonable reform of the congressional ethics process. The Coalition has become an effective vehicle for applying public pressure on the policymakers charged with crafting and enforcing ethics rules. The Legal Center and the Coalition have repeatedly been cited by national media organizations for our public advocacy on these issues. We have also hosted a number of public events designed to raise the public profile of systemic problems with the current ethics oversight regime. Members of the Coalition include:
