Nov. 16, 2007 -- FEC Publishes Alternative Draft Rules to Interpret WRTL Decision

The FEC today published alternative proposed rules to interpret and implement the Supreme Court's decision earlier this year in Wisconsin Right to Life. Legal Center staff is currently analyzing the alternative draft rules and will soon comment on the proposals on the CLC blog.

Legal Center Files Comments in Wisconsin Right to Life Rulemaking

The Campaign Legal Center submitted two sets of comments in response to the Federal Election Commission's (FEC) request for comments on proposed revisions to its rules governing electioneering communications, in order to implement the Supreme Court's decision in FEC v. Wisconsin Right to Life, Inc.
