McConnell v FEC: Supreme Court: Coordinated Briefing Proposals

Coordinated Briefing Proposals

The Supreme Court issued a schedule for expedited briefing and oral argument on June 4, 2003. In the same order, the Court issued a memorandum asking the parties to confer and attempt to reach agreement on the number and length of briefs that would be submitted on both sides, and to identify areas in which the parties could avoid duplicative briefing on common issues. These proposals were submitted by the Court's June 10 deadline.
