FEC Reply Regarding Appeal

On October 12, 2004, the FEC filed a reply in support of the Motion for Stay of Sept. 18th, order pending appeal.

FEC Motion to "Stay" in Shays v. FEC

On October 1, 2004 , the FEC filed a Motion for a Stay Pending Appeal. The motion asks Judge Kollar-Kotelly to confirm that the regulations "remain in effect pending a decision on appeal" and that the judge "stay" her 9/18 Order "to the extent it may obligate the agency to initiate remand proceedings before there is a final judgment on appeal."

FEC's Answer to Shays and Meehan Complaint Over Reform Act Regulations

On February 10, the FEC filed its Answer to the Complaint filed by Congressmen Christopher Shays (R-CT) and Marty Meehan (D-MA) concerning the FEC's regulations to implement the Reform Act.
