Cases: National Association of Manufacturers v. Taylor: Plaintiff Filings

Motion for a preliminary injunction and supporting memorandum

On February 6, 2008, the National Association of Manufacturers filed a constitutional challenge to Section 207 of the Honest Leadership and Open Government Act (HLOGA) in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Section 207 amends the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 to require a lobbying coalition to disclose its member organizations that fund and actively participate in the coalition's lobbying efforts. Plaintiff requested both preliminary and permanent injunctive relief.
