FOIA Request: Information on DOJ Reversal on Private Prison Policy

CLC submitted a FOIA Request with the Bureau of Prisons and Office of Inspector General at the Department of Justice to find out more information about how the DOJ reached its conclusion to rescind the Aug. 18, 2016 memo on President Obama's phase-out of private prison contracts. CLC is requesting copies of all records that mention "Rebuilding America Now," a super PAC that supported Donald Trump that received campaign contributions from GEO Group, one of Ameria's largest private prison contractors.
