Hispanic Leadership Fund v. FEC: U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia Memorandum of CLC as Amicus in Support of the FEC

Amicus brief filed by the Campaign Legal Center as in support of the Defendant, FEC. The CLC argues that the Court should declare that the application of 2 U.S.C. §§ 431(18) and 434(f), as well as 11 C.F.R. §§ 100.17 and 100.29, to HLF’s proposed ads is constitutional, should deny HLF’s motion for preliminary injunction, and should dismiss HLF’s complaint.
