Associated Press: Facebook to turn over ads bought by Russian agency to congressional investigators
Facebook will provide the contents of 3,000 ads bought by a Russian agency to congressional investigators, bowing to pressure that it be more forthcoming with information that could shed light on possible interference in the 2016 presidential election.
The nonpartisan Campaign Legal Center stressed again Thursday that the company should make the ads public, “so that everyone can see the nature and extent of the use of Facebook accounts by Russia.”
