Ney-Hoyer Bill Sets Uniform Date for the Release of Payments from the Presidential Election Campaign

On Feb. 16, 2005 , House Administration Committee Chairman Bob Ney (R-Ohio) and House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) introduced legislation that will establish a date for the major party nominees to receive general election public funding at the same time.
