Dec 1, 2006 -- Legal Center Weekly Report: December 1, 2006 Legal Center Ads New Litigator to Legal Staff
The Campaign Legal Center is expanding its legal staff with the addition of an experienced litigator with a background in election law. Tara Malloy joins the Center as an Associate Legal Counsel working with the litigation team and contributing to other programs.
"Tara's background and experience will make her a great addition to our litigation team and help to advance the goals of a variety of programs here at the Campaign Legal Center," said Trevor Potter, former Chairman of the Federal Election Commission and President of the Campaign Legal Center. "We are excited to bring Tara on board and welcome her skills and expertise."
Ms. Malloy comes to the Campaign Legal Center from the New York City Campaign Finance Board where she served as associate counsel, advising the board on a variety of issues, conducting administrative hearings and representing the board in state and federal courts. Previously she had worked in the litigation practice at a private law firm in New York. A former Fulbright Scholar, Ms. Malloy is a graduate of the Yale Law School and Emory University.
