Sehar has extensive experience in proposal development, grant management and strategic planning for nonprofits in the areas of democracy and the rule of law. Prior to joining CLC, she worked as a program manager for the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI), where she designed, expanded and managed ABA ROLI’s grants promoting the rule of law and human rights with legal communities in the Asia region. Through previous positions with the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs and Public Citizen, Sehar developed experience managing and implementing grants on issues ranging from political participation and election monitoring to state and local governance.  

Sehar earned her master’s degree in political science from American University and her bachelor’s degree in political science from the George Washington University. She joined CLC in April 2018.
