White House: Letter from Reform Groups Urging Veto of H.R 2019

Letter from Campaign Legal Center, Americans for Campaign Reform, Brennan Center for Justice, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), Common Cause, Democracy 21, Demos, League of Women Voters, Public Citizen and U.S. PIRG. to President Obama urging veto of H.R 2019. The groups argue that signing H.R 2019 would contradict and reverse Obama's public position of strongly opposing the repeal of the public financing system for presidential candidates and party nominating conventions.
